Fuel Transport is presently expanding rapidly and looking for a Logistic Account Specialist for our business unit in Mississauga, Ontario.  The person selected will be responsible to maintain and grow client and carrier relationships and successfully manage logistics capacity.

Detailed description:
  • Manage, plan and coordinate logistic movements with existing customers.
  • Fast-pace decision-making in resolving freight movement issues.
  • Manage and develop new suppliers in transportation.
  • Price negotiation for 3PL services.
  • Communicate with clients and carriers daily to negotiate rates plan movement.
  • Follow-up that services purchased are rendered.
  • Use equipment tracking data to process real-time information for clients.
  • Work in tandem with the internal team members to ensure client satisfaction.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Collegial degree in administration, logistic, human resources or other fields with at least 2-5 years of experience in logistic movements coordination.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate and comfortable learning new IT systems.
  • Self-motivated and business minded team player.
  • Capacity to take-on multiple mandates and prioritize.
  • Resilient and dedicated.
  • Accessible to clients and suppliers outside of standard office hours.
  • Able to work under pressure in a just in time manner. (24/7 type work environment)
