Fuel Truck Inc. is expanding rapidly and looking for a Dispatcher located at our head office in LaSalle.  This role supports communication and guidance of our fleet of drivers to maximize the on-time shipping of loads.

Detailed Job Description:
  • Book, schedule and dispatch trucks as per hours of service.
  • Track & Trace shipment to ensure the well conduct of the operation.
  • Communicate and assign trips to drivers.
  • Coordinate shipments and records for cross-border travel.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for customs.
  • Data entry of shipment in the software.
  • Maintain driver permit books to keep them compliant.
  • Any other task requested for the well conduct of the operation.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Two (2) years related experience in cross-border dispatching. (Canada/ US)
  • Rate per mile knowledge and accountability experience relative to present day market standards.
  • Driven to achieve results, able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics software, such as PC Miler and TMW. (an asset)
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Good knowledge of USA and Canada Geography.
  • Perfectly bilingual. (English/French)
  • Highly productive with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Customer service oriented, maintains a professional attitude with clients.
  • Has excellent time management and organization skills, completes quality work on time.
