Fuel Transport is presently expanding rapidly and looking to hire a Logistic Support Agent for the night shift in its Head Office in LaSalle. The person will be responsible support all internal and external inquiries regarding pick-up shipments, deliveries and track and trace request and enter notes in the system.

Detailed Job Description:
  • Handling inquiries from vendors, suppliers and internal Management
  • Coordinate and confirm scheduled appointments with vendors and suppliers
  • Accept and enter shipment tenders, verify on-time pickup and delivery
  • Prepare and provide daily/weekly tracing reports as required
  • Communicating orders, movement instructions, load movements, and other information to dispatchers, carriers and customers
  • Recording, maintaining and providing shipment arrival & departure information
  • Timely status information updates; documenting service performance and equipment tracking
  • Acquire and optimize skills on internal operational software programs (eg.TMW, PeopleNet & other)
Skills & Requirements:
  • High school diploma, DEC, or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in a similar type of position, ideally in a logistic work environment.
  • Excellent verbal, reading comprehension and writing skills in French and English.
  • Intermediate to advance with IT systems and Microsoft Suit.
  • Advanced data entry skills.
  • Good Analytical and fast decision-making abilities.
  • Dynamic, good communication and customer service oriented.
  • Fast execution and able to multitask.
  • Good learning and organization abilities.
