Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist for its downtown Chicago office.

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Branch Manager, and the Hiring Managers to attract and source top talent and help shape the best talent attraction practices for our US operations.  You will identify, attract, and source qualified talent using different niche channels and social media outlets.  Integrity, a positive attitude, creativity, and collaboration will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities: 
  • Identify, attract and source qualified talent using different niche sites/channels such as LinkedIn and other social media
  • Prepare job descriptions, manage postings on Fuel’s career website as well as other relevant posting websites
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including pre-screening, on-site interviews and reference checks in an effort to identify relevant talent
  • Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), coordinate background verification's aligned with company processes and manage all follow-up communications
  • Prepare and process hiring documentation in collaboration with the Human Resources department.
  • Maintain and promote company policies and procedures pertaining to the recruitment process established
  • Participate in career fairs local job fairs and professional events to support the Fuel Brand and growth plan
  • Implement brand confidence and retention practices amongst newly recruited talent
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with existing employees 
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Human Resources or related field is preferred.  Full cycle recruitment experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hiring criteria related to logistics in the logistics industry is a plus
  • Bilingual French and English (written and spoken) is an asset
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft office suite; Word / Excel / Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with a sense of urgency while remaining positive and focused
  • Results-driven, outgoing and capable of building strong relationships
