Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for a Branch Manager for our office located in Mississauga, Ontario.  The person selected will be responsible to establish, manage and coordinate all day-to-day Sales and logistics operation including personnel management to support the Office expansion and ensure client satisfaction.

Detailed Job Description:
  • Establish, coordinate, manage all personnel, new business initiatives and integration with Logistics Account management related to the Mississauga office and all day to day activities.
  • Strategically establish a sales action plan for designated sales territories by identifying trends, market needs and industry changes.
  • Establish the hiring and budget plan for Operations and Sales departments to support the team growth initiative and propose to management for approval.
  • Facilitate the recruitment processes including interviewing, hiring and training of new employees.
  • Develop, establish and nurture a Sales and Operations team for sustainable growth.
  • Servicing existing and new accounts operationally.
    • Full Cycle Freight booking:
    • Troubleshoot unexpected events/conditions concerning trips
    • Handle inquiries from vendors, suppliers and internal Management
    • Performing CSR duties and eventually managing CSR functions/teams.
    • Other operational duties as required
  • Oversee, contribute and ensure the carrier base and/or develop new carriers is supporting the business needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain data and update accurate information in the company's operating systems
  • P&L and Gross Profit accountability for the Mississauga office; manage sales and operations reporting.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least seven to ten (7-10) years’ experience or an equivalent combination with a proven track in a similar position within the third Party Logistic (3PL) industry.
  • Proven track record of business and/or operations management in the trucking, transportation and/or 3PL industry.
  • Practical experience in managing a team of Sales and/or Logistics/Operations professionals.
  • Strong leadership skills and negotiation skills.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative.
  • Highly motivated, goal driven, result oriented and team player.
  • Strong presentation, communication and coaching skills.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Software.
