Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for an Human Resource Administrator for our office located in LaSalle, Quebec.

Detailed Job Description:
  • Full cycle Driver Recruitment including
    • Review Driver resumes, conduct phone pre-screening and in-office interviews to identify relevant Driver talent.
    • Update Applicant Tracking System and conduct references, background and pre-employment verifications.
    • Coordinate various tests and trainings
    • Prepare and process hiring documentation and conduct welcome sessions for all new employees.
    • Maintain and promote company policies and procedures.
    • Create and maintain employee files and spreadsheets.
    • Participate in Driver career events to generate leads and recruit drivers to support the growth plan.
    • Implement brand confidence and retention practices among newly recruited talent.
  • Communicate directly with Payroll Administrator regarding new employees, employee changes, benefit changes, time off, etc.
  • Track and update attendance and holiday records daily.
  • Filing documentation daily.
  • Create letters and correspondence in both official languages.
  • Various duties as requested by HR Director.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Human Resources, Industrial Relations or connected education with at least three (3) to five (5) years’ previous experience as a Human Resources Administrator.
  • Practical experience in recruitment (Drivers asset).
  • Fully bilingual (English and French) both written and spoken is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Strong knowledge of Provincial and Federal employment standards and labour laws.
  • CHRA certified (Asset).
  • Transportation Industry knowledge (Asset).
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and organizational skills a must.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, responsible, autonomous, and high degree of confidentiality
