Fuel Strengthens Warehousing Network with Major Investments

Builds on strong partnerships and innovation to expand capacity and meet evolving client needs

MONTRÉAL, QC, February 9: Fuel Transport, a leading Montreal-based logistics and transportation company, today announced a major step forward in expanding its warehousing network, reinforcing its commitment to long-term client partnerships and continued investment in the infrastructure that powers them. Central to this growth strategy is a significant expansion of its Cordner facility in Montréal, a flagship project that marks the next phase of Fuel’s warehousing evolution.

Currently undergoing a major renovation, the Cordner warehouse is being rebuilt to significantly expand Fuel’s operational footprint in Quebec. When completed in May 2026, the facility will offer 126,000 square feet of modern, high-performance warehouse space designed to support higher volumes, improved throughput, and flexible operations. The upgraded facility will feature 12 dock doors, enhanced ceiling clearances, optimized yard flow, modern racking capabilities, and infrastructure designed to support multiple operating models, including dedicated and shared-use programs.

This expansion directly enabled Fuel to secure a five-year customer commitment, underscoring how targeted infrastructure investment is driving long-term growth with key partners.

“This investment is a reflection of our long-term vision. We’re growing with our clients and for our clients,” said Robert Piccioni, CEO of Fuel Transport. “Cordner represents our ability to anticipate future needs, invest with intention, and continue earning trust through reliability, scale, and innovation.”

As part of its broader warehousing strategy, Fuel is also rethinking how its facilities evolve alongside customer demand. In response to shifting trade dynamics and increasing demand for adaptable supply chain solutions, the company is exploring the transformation of an existing site into a multi-client fulfillment centre supported by long-term and extended customer commitments, reinforcing Fuel’s focus on stability, flexibility, and partnership-driven growth.

Complementing these efforts is Fuel’s Brampton warehouse at 35 Precidio, strategically located to serve as a key gateway for national and cross-border distribution. The facility has secured a new long-term client partnership, with expanded capacity coming online in January 2026. This investment will unlock additional space for clients and deliver scalable warehousing solutions designed to serve a range of industries with efficiency and precision.

Together, these projects reflect Fuel’s adaptable approach to warehousing, one centered on partnership, disciplined investment, and client-driven evolution. As the company continues to expand its footprint, its focus remains clear: enabling clients to grow confidently alongside a trusted logistics partner.
