Fuel Transport and Kenvue Canada Launch Pilot to Test Dedicated Urban Electric Delivery Route
By: Fuel Transport
  • Joint pilot to test electric freight delivery across select Greater Toronto Area routes
  • Designed to evaluate real-world electric vehicle (EV) performance in urban, short-haul logistics
  • Driving action on both companies’ commitment to innovation and lower-emissions transportation

Montreal, May 20, 2026: Fuel Transport, a leading North American logistics and transportation company, and Kenvue Canada Inc. (“Kenvue”), the maker of iconic brands such as Tylenol®, Aveeno®, Listerine® and Neutrogena®, today announced a collaborative pilot project testing the use of electric delivery truck on select short-haul urban routes across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The project, known as “Electric Loop” or eLoop, is designed to test how EV freight performs in real-world, urban, and cold-weather conditions. Launched in January 2026, the pilot deploys an electric truck on a short-haul, multi-stop route across the GTA. The live test route will allow Fuel and Kenvue to assess operational performance, energy efficiency, and emissions impacts in a dense city environment.

Created out of a shared focus on innovation and future-ready logistics, the project aligns with Kenvue’s long-term sustainability roadmap and Fuel’s broader efforts to advance electric transportation solutions. This initiative also helps demonstrate how manufacturers and logistics providers can collaborate to test more adaptable, customized delivery networks that support lower-emissions operations.

“This is an exciting milestone and important step forward for our company,” said CEO of Fuel Transport, Robert Piccioni. “Thanks to support from Kenvue, we’re able to test this technology in a real-world setting, helping us better understand how it can evolve our long-term operational goals to build more flexible and future-forward solutions for our clients.”

“As a manufacturer with a large and complex Canadian supply chain, partnering with Fuel allows us to pilot practical ways to advance a more resilient and sustainable transportation network,” said Chris Mascella, Sr. Director, Head of Supply Chain Canada, Kenvue. “This pilot reflects the practical steps we’re taking to reduce emissions while continuing to reliably deliver the everyday care Canadians rely on.”

Through this pilot, Fuel and Kenvue aim to help reduce transportation‑related emissions and better understand the potential sustainability benefits of electric delivery vehicles in urban operations.

Together, Fuel Transport and Kenvue are using this pilot to test new ideas, learn from real-world performance, and help inform future approaches to building more efficient, lower-emissions supply chains.
